Verizon selling Netbooks?

Verizon is expanding their businees by their new product "NET BOOK". It is becoming more competetice with AT & T by selling Netbooks.Verizon Wireless will start selling a netbook—a cheaper, more basic version of a notebook—as early as next quarter, Bloomberg said, citing a person close to the project.

Verizon retail outlets and third-party stores will offer the Netbooks at a cost of around $100, but this will be with a contract most likely for a data plan or alongside a cellphone with voice plan.

News of the introduction of Netbooks by Verizon has come from a source that chose to remain anonymous, but they said Netbooks were currently undergoing network testing by the company. In the past Verizon Wireless has focused on offering discounted laptops with multi-year contracts.
